How does custom work??? Decide the scope of the project. We only accept custom projects that we are very confident will result in 100% satisfaction. This generally rules out custom color finishes, Louis XIV styles, and unavailable materials.
Bring in your ideas; Your sketches, your clippings, your inspirations should be brought in together with your ideal dimensions. Select your wood and finish. We work primarily in sustainably harvested, kiln dried Walnut wood. Walnut is available in Natural, Medium and Dark Finish as well as Unfinished. We also offer Black and Red Lacquer finishes. The Drawing Most projects will require a scale drawing. Pictures truly are worth a thousand words. Generating and reviewing these drawings can be time-consuming, but it's important to get the details right. Finalize All parties signoff on the drawings, price quote, and time schedule and production begins! Usually you can expect to receive you custom piece in as little as 8 weeks but generally not more than 12 weeks after the project is finalized. |
