RUN TO GINGKO FURNITURE, DON'T WALK! Take 3 at Gingko Furniture in downtown Mountain View. I have now purchased a loveseat, bedroom nightstands and a bookshelf, and a dining room set. I always find what I am looking for or am surprised by something unexpected. Jerry is so wonderful to work with and I feel welcome every time I walk in. I love that this is a neighborhood joint. I couldn’t be happier with my purchases. I will be going back to Gingko many more times to furnish my home! (First purchase was a beautiful Stella Sofa. Second purchase was the bedroom nightstands and bookshelf. Third purchase was the Ironwood table and chairs. Love all of them so much.)

I went into Gingko several weeks ago after scouring the internet for months looking for a media cabinet and bookcase, not finding what I was looking for both in style and price point. I came across Gingko on a Google search and noticed 2 pieces they had that was in line with what I was looking for. I walked in to check them out and about a week later, decided to purchase both pieces. I purchased the Tao tall bookcase and the Sonoma TV cabinet and both were on sale and available for next day delivery. The whole experience was super easy and quick and I literally was able to enjoy my furniture THE NEXT DAY. I wasn't expecting that as most furniture stores make you wait weeks sometimes months. On top of all that, I'm all about supporting local business. I am very happy with my new furniture and looks great in my apartment. Besides the good quality and solid construction, I have received lots of compliments on it. :)

We found Gingko Furniture while searching on Google for a mid century accent chair similar to the one sold at Crate & Barrel but smaller in size that would fit in our smaller reading room and our body size 5’1 /5’10. The chairs at Gingko fit us perfectly and at 1/2 the price! We discussed a different finish and cushion color preferences then what was in the show room, so Jerry offered to have one made for us. We waited 4 weeks for the chairs to be ready for pick up, and it was so worth the wait! We love the feel of the wood when our hands rest on the arm rest. The seat cushions are very comfy, and well made. We are very happy with our purchase. Thank you Jerry, for taking the time to help us without making us feel pressured. This is our second time we've worked with Jerry, and he's been awesome to work with both times. The first project was a few years ago when we saw a coffee table on his website, Ginko Furniture. We went to see it in his shop and asked for a few changes. Jerry was very accommodating and showed us a draft, which made us feel assured that he understood our vision. The table turned out exactly the way we envisioned. Our coffee table still gets compliments from people who visit our house. This time, we wanted a custom media console, so we showed him a sample photo. Jerry gave us some good suggestions, worked through the design together, and got the console a few days ago. It turned out great! Working with Jerry was very positive, reliable and assuring. He is straightforward and easy to communicate with. He really knows how to bring your ideas to life. I highly recommend him and his company.

We bought 2 beautiful chairs for our living room and custom walnut wood table for our dining area. Such quality and beautiful craftsmanship. The chairs are our favorite pieces of furniture in the house. Jerry was wonderful helping us coordinating pickup. Originally, my daughter had a class in Mountain View, and during the one-hour waiting time, I searched for furniture stores and found this store with good Google reviews. As soon as I walked in, being Japanese myself, I thought the furniture had an elegant and refined feel, with designs resembling Japanese-style dressers and made of walnut. However, since it wasn’t on sale, I also looked at various other stores including antique furniture stores in Oakland and Berkeley. Ultimately, I decided on the Monterey Design nightstand and chest because the nightstand, with a width of 19 inches, was perfect for our small bedroom. Additionally, it was made of solid walnut, one of the top three premium woods, without using MDF or particle board, and it was finished with dovetail joints (No soft closing). The quality and design were excellent, and it was on a 20% off sale. Jerry’s service was excellent from the beginning; he was very kind even though I had a small child with me, taking and sending photos for me, and providing meticulous service. Unfortunately, there was a small chip/dent in the wood inside the nightstand, possibly due to an issue during delivery, but since it was inside the nightstand, it didn’t bother me much. Overall, I am satisfied with the high-quality product and the good service I received.

We had a great experience working with Jerry from Gingko Furniture. We had just moved to Mountain View and wanted to quickly set up a warm and welcoming home. We found our beautiful live edge dining table made out of walnut at Gingko. Jerry understood the necessity of having it delivered quickly. He went right to work and delivered it the next day after our decision to purchase. He was also very patient and not at all pushy!! The store was a delight to visit with many options from moderately priced dining table to beautiful wood bed frames. We’re going back again soon!!

I'm very pleased with my Gingko furniture. I purchased a sofa, two chairs, and an ottoman. They are high quality reproductions of the Selig z chair designed in the 50s by Poul Jensen. There is excellent attention to detail, right down to the lift of the round edge on the arms of the chairs. I was able to speak to the owners about their process. This is not mass produced furniture. It is produced by Gingko, for Gingko. They set up their own factory craftsman, and the furniture is handmade. This workshop is in China, which didn't surprise me given the amazing price. I was able to pick up my furniture the same day from their warehouse, which is only minutes from their showroom. This living room set is going to last for the rest of my life, and it is beautiful.

Cliff and Jerry were great. We came in after browsing online, and Cliff showed us various sofas with nice design and even better support and comfort. Cliff was knowledgeable and didn't push us to try or buy anything. We left with an additional side table we weren't in the market for, but we liked the unique shape and size that fit our space perfectly. When we picked up the sofa, Jerry and Cliff helped us to load. Excellent experience all around. Our only regret is not finding Gingko Furniture sooner during our furnishing process. Thanks, Gingko Furniture!

I had a great experience buying dining chairs at Gingko! The owners are at the store whenever I stop in, and they've been consistently friendly and helpful. I purchased 6 of the Emma chairs and they look beautiful in our new house. They are the right mix of modern and casual, and they coordinate nicely with our existing RH dining cabinet and custom wood table. The chairs are also very sturdy and comfortable - a perfect mix of form and function. I will definitely consider Gingko for future furniture purchases!

Ginkgo Furniture offers high quality and beautiful mid-century modern furniture. The owners, Cliff and Jerry, are wonderful. They consistently provide us with helpful and insightful service. We purchased from Gingko on two occasions: first a ceramic marble tulip table, and second a transforming sofa bed. Both times, Cliff and Jerry's knowledge of the products and advice on what factors to consider were very helpful for us to buy the pieces with confidence. After Cliff's explanation of sofa beds and how the mechanisms work, I got a deeper appreciation of furniture design and felt more confidence in the design and longevity of the product I was buying. Cliff and Jerry are also really flexible! They lent us sample pieces to take home to match our home environment colors, and even to offered to lend us some chairs we were interested in for a few hours to try at home! Since we live very close to their store, they allowed us to skip the delivery and just come to their store to pick up the pieces ourselves to save costs. All in all, we find Cliff and Jerry very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible, and they care deeply about product quality. We'd definitely come back again.

I’ve been looking for these kind of chairs for years. My uncle on Long Island had chairs just like this, and I’ve spent years looking for this style. I saw this chair as a background chair on a different web site and after some calls, they sent me to Gingko. I’m 58 and have been looking everywhere for chairs in this style. WOW! They are beautiful and exactly as pictured. I want to add, the customer service is super fast at responding. Why call customer service? I’ve never ordered furniture except Ikea on line. So I was super nervous. They replied within hours, not days. I will be ordering that Louis (Lewis) Bed soon!

We looked for a long time for two mid century accent chairs for our living room. We wanted great quality construction but couldn’t find what we wanted in a price range we could afford. Most of the top stores had great designs but the quality of materials or construction was lacking. Then we found Ginko Furniture! The chairs are made of beautiful walnut hardwood with traditional wood joints rather than glue and staples. I was really hesitant to by furniture site unseen but we were able to schedule a zoom call with Sarah. She was wonderful - she answered all our questions, showed us each chair, sat in them so we could see the size and described how they felt. She sent us samples of the wood and fabric. All are high quality. We decided to purchase an Owen and Charlotte chair with a matching ottoman. They were in stock and arrived very quickly with no damage. We love our chairs!
